The game, like the first part, has a special cheat mode activated through the console. But be careful - when you activate the cheat mode, Steam achievements will be instantly disabled!!!
To activate the mode, enter the console command Iroll20s (be sure to use a capital letter!). To open the console, press the tilde (~) key. Enter the code and confirm by pressing Enter. Red text should appear in the dialog box in the lower right corner of the screen. The topmost one will notify you that the mode is activated.
The remaining codes look like this:
- God – invulnerability of characters.
- NoFog – remove the fog of war and show the entire map of the game world. This function, by the way, is available through Bekas’ blessings for 12 runes when starting a new game.
- HealParty – restore the health and stamina of the party.
- Invisible – make your squad invisible.
- Rest – the squad will make a halt without the special items needed for this!
- UnlockAll – all chests in the world will be unlocked.
- UnlockBestiary – all available monsters will be unlocked in your in-game bestiary.
- AddExperience N – add the required number of experience points.
- AddExperienceToLevel N – increase the level of characters in the squad to a specified value.
- AttributeScore ABC – increases the player’s stats to the desired value. Instead of A, enter the name of the character, B - the name of the desired characteristic (for example, strength - Might), C - the desired value.
- Cosmic Bird / Cosmic Dog / Cosmic Cat – summon a ghostly pet - a bird, a dog or a cat, depending on the entered console command.
- CraftingDebug – get a large supply of crafting materials.
- GiveMoneyPlayer N – get the required amount of copper.
- Skill ABC – increases the player’s skill to the desired value. Instead of A, enter the character's name, B - the name of the desired active or passive skill (for example, Stealth), C - the desired value.
- FreeRecipesToggle - crafting any items without the need for ingredients.
- ToggleSpellLimit – the ability to use spells without any restrictions.
- GiveItem X – receive an item, where X is the name of the item in Latin.

Like the original, the second part of Pillars of Eternity turned out to be a rather complex role-playing game. It often contains powerful opponents, dangerous traps and difficult locations. In addition, you will always be short of coppers. Of course, not all players have the nerves to overcome all the challenges. Fortunately, you can use cheats, codes and console commands for Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire at any time.
How to open the console and activate codes
Press the "~" key (the tilde located above TAB and representing the letter "E") to open the console in which you can enter the desired cheat codes. Then you need to enter the command “Iroll20s” (without quotes) to activate the cheat mode. After this, you can start entering the commands we specified below.
Let's say you want to add 100 coppers to yourself. In this case, open the console and then type into it:
- Iroll20s
- givemoneyplayer 100
After this, an additional 100 coppers will appear in your inventory. If you want to disable cheat mode, simply enter the command “Iroll20s” again.
Note: When using codes, you will not be able to receive in-game achievements, so we do not advise you to abuse them.
Basic cheats
- Iroll20s – enables cheat mode in the game. Repeated use disables this mode.
- god – turns on god mode, in which all characters in your party become invulnerable to enemy attacks.
- healparty – restores stamina and health for all party members.
- unlockall – opens all locked containers on the current map.
- rest – the group rests without using tools to set up the camp.
- givemoneyplayer [n] – gives n-amount of copper to the hero.
- addexperience [n] – gives all group members n-number of experience points.
- addexperiencetolevel [n] – each character in the group receives an n-level (the maximum can be level 12).
- skill (character) (skill name) (n) – increases the skill of the selected character by n-level. Character names: player (player hero) Sagani, Hiravias, Pallegina, Eder, Aloth, Kana, GM (Grieving Mother), GGP (Durance). Name of skills: Stealth (stealth), Atheltics (athleticism), Lore (knowledge of the world), Mechanics (mechanics), Survival (survival). Example: skill pallegina mechanics 10 – Pallegina’s mechanic skill increases to 10.
- attributescore (character) (characteristic name) (n) – increases the selected character’s stats by n units. Character names: player (player hero) Sagani, Hiravias, Pallegina, Eder, Aloth, Kana, GM (Grieving Mother), GGP (Durance). Parameter names: Might, Constitution, Dexterity, Perception, Intellect, Resolve. Example: attributescore GGP intellect 18 – Durance’s Intelligence parameter increases to 18.
- craftingdebug – you will receive a large amount of crafting materials.
- freerecipestoggle – you can craft any items, even without the necessary ingredients.
- invisible – your group will become invisible, meaning enemies will ignore you.
- nofog – removes the “fog of war”.
- togglespelllimit – you will be able to cast spells without any restrictions.
- unlockbestiary – opens access to all information about monsters in the bestiary.
Secret pets
In Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, the hero can have pets and some of them are secret. Codes for them were found in a number of gaming magazines. To get them you just need to open the console and enter the commands below, that is, without entering iroll20s. Thus, opening them will not lead to the loss of trophies.
- COSMIC DOG - Unlocks the space dog.
- COSMIC BIRD – unlocks the space bird.
- COSMIC CAT – Unlocks a space cat.
These codes can be used for any hero you create.
Cheaters are not liked anywhere, especially in online games. But if you want to try the effect of the codes on yourself and see the difference in the game, or you simply cannot overcome a certain “barrier” in the game on your own, then you can use the codes described below. At the same time, it is important to understand that frequent use of codes can significantly reduce interest in the game, which means you will have to look for a new interesting product without codes.
